"Because of Love" Orphanage

After 3 months of praying, I had a plan to go to an orphanage in Jakarta.

I was sms-ing & calling my friends to help me contribute to give their best (money/things-->old clothes) for spreading the spirit & love of Christmas for those who in needs.

Actually, I was quite nervous & blamed myself because I didn't have much preparations for these kind of event & lacking of time.

However, God is so kind...I had collected around 1.6 million rupiah fr my friends. From that money, I was buying things at Carefour such as rice, oil, green bean, soap, toothpaste, ketchup, noodles, and etc. And also bought rice bento from Hoka2 Bento for those orphans.

Today, i was going to "Because of Love" Orphanage (Panti Asuhan Karena Kasih) at Sunter around 5.15 pm- 7 pm. There are 36 children, ranging from grade school (16 ppl), junior high & high school (19 ppl), and 1 infant. Those kids are truly sweet, funny, smart and such a Bless from God! We had fun, singing -playing games - chatting - camwhoring (upss) - eating together

Jakarta Toyz Fair 2008

Recently, i met up with my friends, Jenny & Icha @ Artha Gading Mall. We chatted & after that Icha dropped me home by her car. After Icha went for not more than 10 minutes, she called me and cried bcoz her cars' right side mirror was brutally robbed by two men when she was stopping at the traffic light. Poor Icha, she was shocked until now.
So guys, be careful - pray everytime you drive - and don't wear any eye catching things!

Yesterday, I went to the first day event of Jakarta Toyz Mania Fair 2008 at GOR.Bulungan Blok M with Aris & Klaudius [yeah, we're a bit otaku who love gundam,pvc fig, anime,manga, and cosplay (me)] hahaha.

There are 70 stands; from Gundam, PVC Figure, Saint Seiya, Military, even Nendoroid

The Good news is I found & bought Nendoroid L from Deathnote, he's such a cutie. There are 4 different facial expressions, a red sofa, and a detachable hand which held a handphone from this box. Actually i didn't expect to find it there bcoz it is very rare & i've already search it for months. But YATTA!!, one of my wish from the 1st post of my blog becomes true.

A quite good bargain for my L which costs me 275k rupiah (83 RM/23 USD), i think it's a original one coz there's a sticker & hv a good paint.

And i'm craving for this figure called Revoltech no.048 Jun Mihara, a pink rabbit who loves curry, noodle, karaoke, from Sony's Japanese PS3 game, Doko Demo Issyo (どこでもいっしょ). It comes with 4 different facial expressions also. It costs 200k rupiah (quite reasonable), but i don't have any money left hikz....Someone please gave me this for Christmas present hahaha

Jakarta's rhapsody

Finally, after waiting so long for my internet installed at Jakarta, i can online again yippie :)
So...wat's happening with my life after 12 days in Jakarta? lots!

I begin with my daily routine: Japanese language course 3 times a week (private) and 1 times a week (at Gakushudo) - Gym with personal trainer 3 times a week - church 3 times a week

Last week, 9 November 2008, i went to Japan Indo Expo 2008 at J.E.Expo and wore a new yukata sent by my Japanese aunt

There, i met with my friend, a cosplayer (UsagiChiba-chan) - she was cosplaying Chii from Chobits with gothic style. I also saw many events like taiko (Japanese drum), fishing (tiz one is usual at matsuri event), cabaret cosplay, also there are lots of companies stand (Honda, Mitsubushi, etc)

Next day, 10 November, my high school friend asked me to help him to became a cameraman for a musical concert at Sunlake Hotel. Such a new experience for me coz it's hard to hold a handycam for live event and with many poses I should do to capture those young pianist. Doraemon, Secret (by Jay Chou), twinkle-twinkle little star, even do-re-mi songs were played by them. It's a marvelous concert tho', sorry i didn't hv time taking pics with them (young pianists), only with my fellow cameramen ;p


I also manage to meet with my friends from the same uni. at Malaysia. We ate at Hanamasa (shabu-shabu & yakiniku restaurant) and being narcissistic at Kelapa Gading 5 Mall

so...wat's next? hehe...i'll catch up with all of u laterz
